Minikin Lantern - Dreamtime Stories, Kinship
Designed in Australia, this Minikin™ Lanterns creates a beautiful ambience in your home. Simply pop in a tealight and be amazed by their magic.
The designer Melanie Hava´s paintings draws her inspiration from her Aboriginal and Austrian heritage. Raised in the Far North Queensland region, her upbringing was steeped in Aboriginal lore and her paintings reflect her spiritual connection with the tropical rainforests and the creatures of the Barrier Reef.
In her early twenties, Melanie felt that her paintings should celebrate both cultures. As a result, she went to live with her father´s family in Austria where she learned about European traditions. She was particularly impressed with Austrian architecture, aspects of which she has incorporated into her work.
